Sarmad Iqbal has a 7-year career in journalism, starting in the sector at the age of 18. His articles, blogs, and news writings have been published in various international media organizations and languages, including Newsweek in the USA, Al Jazeera Arabic in the Middle East, The Quint in India, and Kathimerini in Greece.

He is multilingual and fluent in seven languages, including English, French, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Korean, and Turkish.

He graduated with Magna Cum Laude academic honor from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) in the USA in 2021. He majored in Economics and minored in Political Science. After graduation, he worked as an HR Specialist – Policy and Review at MCB Islamic, one of the leading Islamic banks in South Asia.

He also worked as a private English and French language instructor for students from Turkey, the Middle East, and South Asia.

He is also pursuing an MBA (Thesis) at Kadir Has University.

Currently, he works as an International Channel Manager at WediaCorp.
